99W Wines logo

99W Wines is the leading specialist wine importer of Oregon wines in the UK.  It is all we do and all we focus on.  We know all of our winemakers personally.

Oregon produces some of the best wines in the world and here at 99W Wines we want more people in the UK to be able to drink their fabulous output.  Our portfolio of wines provides a wide range of styles that celebrate the grapes and the landscape of Oregon.

The wine-makers that we work with have a real focus on expression.  They both care for and care about the land that they farm and harvest - many of the wineries are organic, employ bio-dynamic practices, and have environmental stewardship awards and accreditations.

For those of you not familiar with the Willamette Valley – pronounced, as only the Americans can, Wil-lam-it – highway 99W runs through the heart of it and is the inspiration for our name; our aim is to bring to you the heart of what the Willamette Valley can offer, both in terms of the wine and the ethos of the people that make it.

Oregon is rightly known for its Pinot Noir and the various Willamette Valley AVAs provide an amazing diversity with the grape being allowed to truly express the character of its location, from the smoother and richer McMinnville wines to the fresh and vibrant ones from the Dundee Hills, and everything in between.

But Oregon is so much more than world-class Pinot Noirs. The winemakers here – like the settlers before them – are pioneers, exploring the boundaries of their environment and creating tremendous wines across an astonishing range of varietals.

It’s no surprise that there are excellent Chardonnays and Oregon is also known for some sublime Pinot Gris.  In our portfolio we also have sumptuous Gamays as well as tremendous examples of Riesling and Melon de Bourgogne, plus an amazing port-like Cabernet Sauvignon dessert wine.
